Cloud Data Protection Trust Portal
Update - We are providing a final public update regarding the service disruption impacting Cloud Data Protection customers hosted within the AWS Middle East (UAE) region (me-central-1).

AWS has advised that additional time is required to fully restore the remaining impacted infrastructure. As a result, Cloud Data Protection services for a limited number of customers remain affected while recovery activities continue.

Given the limited scope of the remaining impact, this status page will no longer be used for ongoing updates related to this incident. Any further communication will be provided directly to the affected customers.

We sincerely apologize for the disruption this incident has caused and appreciate the patience and understanding shown throughout this event.

Our Engineering and Operations teams will continue to monitor the situation closely and work alongside AWS until full-service restoration is confirmed.

Update - We are providing a further update regarding the ongoing disruption impacting customers hosted within the AWS Middle East (UAE) region (me-central-1).

AWS has confirmed the region is operating in an extremely limited capacity, with two Availability Zones offline and most services significantly impaired. While one Availability Zone remains unaffected, AWS platform architecture is designed to tolerate only a single AZ failure and this does not provide sufficient capacity to restore regional service.

Although AWS has reported incremental improvements to certain foundational services, full restoration is dependent on the recovery of at least one additional Availability Zone. At this time, no confirmed timeline has been provided.

The following services remain unavailable:

Cloud Data Protection (CDP)/CASB
Our Engineering and Operations teams remain closely aligned with AWS and are prepared to initiate recovery procedures as soon as regional infrastructure stability allows.

Further updates will be shared as soon as verified information becomes available.

Update - We are providing an update on the ongoing service disruptions affecting the AWS Middle East (UAE) Region (me-central-1).

Due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, the region has experienced physical impacts to infrastructure as a result of drone strikes. In the UAE, two AWS facilities were directly struck, causing physical impacts to supporting infrastructure. These events have resulted in structural damage, disruption to power delivery systems, and, in certain areas, activation of fire suppression systems, which has led to additional water-related damage within affected facilities.

AWS is working closely with local authorities and emergency services within the region. The safety of personnel remains the highest priority throughout recovery efforts.
At this time, recovery efforts remain ongoing. AWS teams continue to assess the full extent of the damage and are working to restore critical power, cooling, and supporting infrastructure required to safely recover services.

Our Engineering and Operations teams remain fully engaged and in close coordination with AWS. We are prepared to initiate service recovery procedures as soon as infrastructure stability allows.

We understand the severity of this disruption and the impact it may have on your operations. We sincerely apologise for the continued interruption and appreciate your patience during this complex recovery effort.

We will provide a further update as additional information becomes available.
